Support Bank Engine Overhaul Program

Scroll Down

We have developed a support bank engine program that allows us to better support our customers’ needs. It’s a program we’re particularly proud of, and has been part of our vision since day one.

Over the years our vision has always been to develop a service exchange engine program that we could deliver for our customers. It’s a tricky and costly exercise at the outset, as all engine cores need to be sourced and then fully overhauled, so they’re ready to carry out a complete life cycle in the field.

To deliver our support bank engine program, each engine goes through a rigorous process to ensure all specifications are met to the highest standard. This includes:

  1. Stripping the engine to bare block
  2. A full tear-down report
  3. Discussing customer requirements and expectations
  4. Undertaking a full restore and dyno test of the engine

Since implementing the program, we’re proud to have the following engines available to our customers:

  • Cummins QSK19 Tier 1 and 2 engines to suit Atlas Copco MT6020 or Sandvik TH663 trucks
  • Cummins KTA38 Engine to suit a Terex RH200 excavator
  • Cummins QSK50 Engine to suit a Liebherr 9400 excavator
  • Cummins K1800 Engine to suit a Liebherr 996 excavator

By having these engines available for our customers, it means that in the event of a failure — of any nature — we can get their machine back up and running faster, reducing downtime significantly.

It helps with scheduled maintenance, too, and many of our customers are using our service to efficiently plan and execute their scheduled machinery maintenance programs.
